Predator Hunting Season is just picking up.

Arizona Guide Predator Hunts

December is upon us in 2015, and we have had a very successful year, but the Predator Hunting Season is actually just getting into full swing!  We have had numerous windy and wet conditions during the month of November & December thus far.  This has made for slow days 0-3 predators called in during 25+mph winds, BUT when we get the good days in between we have been calling in 6+ predators in a day.

We always suggest multiple day hunts, because of the weather and calling conditions can limit your success.  Getting on the back side of a multi day weather system makes for idle conditions and you can fill the roof rack or truck bed quickly during these type of conditions.

Last season we called-in over 50 coyotes, 15 grey fox, 7 bobcats & 1 mtn. lion while hunting with clients
(18 daylight hunts)!

Craig, when should I try to book my predator hunt?

Last year, Lee Murphy & I called in and shot 7 coyotes in 1.5 days in mid-April. With that said, I prefer hunters come between November & March. I would advise to try and book on weekdays, but it’s not the end of the world to hunt weekends. If I had a crystal ball, I would tell you to come 1 day after a major storm system, but that is out of our control and I would not advise waiting to book.

My forecast for this calling season is an educated guess, but we have seen a ton of coyotes and quite a few bobcats during our early season scouting (several mtn. lions and fox). El Nino is suppose to bring wet and cold weather to Arizona, so it may be one of the best calling season we have seen in a few years.

I am out in the field a ton, but feel free to call me at 928.315.5889
or email me at Craig@PredatorExclusives.com to book your hunt.

If I don’t answer or reply immediately, give me a few days!
I will get back with you as soon as I can!
